The host No. 2 Loyola soccer team took a 2-0 lead at the half and played stingy defense on a rain-soaked field to defeat top-ranked Mount St. Joseph, 2-1, on Thursday.
John Jlopeh scored first for the Dons (2-2), and Jamie Dubyoski added the eventual game-winner at the 21-minute mark of the first half. The Gaels fell to 3-1.
No. 13 Calvert Hall 2, Aberdeen 1:
Yianni Sarioglou scored in the second overtime on a penalty kick to lift the visiting Cardinals (2-1) over the Eagles on Friday.
Aberdeen took the lead 10 minutes into the game, but Calvert Hall tied it with six minutes to go.

No. 2 Mercy 2, North Harford 1:
Alexis Prior Brown scored a goal in each half as the host Magic (6-1) beat the Hawks (4-1).
Goalie Rachel Bourne made seven saves and earned an assist when she cleared a ball by punting it downfield to Prior Brown.
Severn 14, St. Vincent Pallotti 0:
Abbey Ritter scored six goals for the host Admirals.
Goalies Allie Schuh and Dora Kurtz combined to shut out the Panthers. Also scoring multiple goals for the Admirals were Ruby Gilmor, Kelly Reese and Kelsey Ritter. The Admirals have outscored their opponents 22-0 in their past two games.

Allison Siegel assisted on the game-tying and game-winning goals as the visiting Patriots upset the Mustangs (2-2) in double overtime.
Sara Nolan gave C.M. Wright a 1-0 lead before Liz Kelly tied the score on Siegel's first assist. Sarah Dennison scored the game-winner.
