Third-ranked River Hill runs over Long Reach, 41-6

Aaron Wells scored the first three touchdowns and Jordan Griffin added two long rushing touchdowns as host No. 3 River Hill beat Long Reach, 41-6, on Friday.

River Hill improved to 3-0 behind Wells' third straight 100-yard rushing game. He has 10 touchdowns on the season.

Griffin broke the game open for the Hawks with 208 rushing yards, including touchdown runs of 72 and 53 yards. The Hawks have outscored opponents 114-14 this season.

No. 9 Poly 48, Lake Clifton 6: Durrell Milburn completed nine of 14 passes with one touchdown for the host Engineers (3-0).

Gabriel Ali-El recorded two touchdowns on seven rushes for 145 yards. The Engineers' defense was led by Wilford Deshield-Lynch and Stacey Stovall. Deshield-Lynch made 10 tackles, and Stovall had nine tackles, including a sack.

No. 12 North Harford 57, Edgewood 8: Cody Turner scored the first two touchdowns of the game to lead the way for the host Hawks (3-0).

Turner rushed for three touchdowns and completed a 76-yard touchdown pass.
