NBA roundup: Free agent Chris Bosh denies his mind is made up

The NBA rumor mill continued to churn Sunday, four days before the opening of the most anticipated free-agency period in years.

Chris Bosh, appearing at a charity golf tournament in Miami, said the Heat remain a possibility and denied a New York report that he already has decided to join the Bulls.

Knicks officials, meanwhile, will be in Los Angeles when free agency begins at 12:01a.m. Thursday to meet with Joe Johnson and hopefully Amare Stoudemire, ESPN reported. The Knicks will be among the teams visiting LeBron James in Akron, Ohio, later Thursday.

Phil Jackson said seeing Nuggets coach George Karl sidelined last season with throat cancer will influence his decision on whether to return as coach of the Lakers. After speaking at a meeting of Western governors in Montana, Jackson told reporters he wouldn't want to leave his team without a coach in the middle of the season. … Former Suns owner Jerry Colangelo told ESPN he would listen to the Nets about replacing Rod Thorn as president.
