Crystal Palace Baltimore scored early, but Miami FC matched it late to force a 3-3 tie Wednesday night at Lockhart Stadium.

Miami was on its way to its third loss in four games but got goals in the final six minutes from Ariel Germiniani and Christian Gomez. Both goals came on headers and quickly erased a 3-1 Baltimore advantage.

Germiniani scored his first goal this season in the 84th minute on a cross from Chris Gbandi. Gomez scored his fourth this season, nodding a long far-post cross by Brian Shriver past Baltimore keeper Evan Bush.

"It was important that we came back to life after being down 3-1," Miami coach Victor Pastora said. "Obviously, we have the spirit and ability to do well. All credit to the players for not giving up."

Shriver scored for Miami in the 21st minute. Miami FC is 1-2-7 with 10 points and remains in 11th place in USSF-2, just behind Crystal Palace (3-5-2, 11 points).

Baltimore set the tone early on a goal in the second minute by Randi Patterson, his first on the night. Adauto Neto assisted with a through ball that set up a one-on-one chance with Miami goalkeeper Caleb Patterson-Sewell.

Patterson scored his second goal of the game, and fourth this season, just two minutes into the second half with a volley into the far side netting. Baltimore made it 3-1 in the 80th minute on a free-kick goal by Lucio Gonzaga. Miami defender Cristiano Dias set up the free-kick chance with a late tackle on Matthew Mbuta just outside the 18.
