The senior center fielder led the Gators (13-5) to three wins in Howard County last week, combining to go 7-for-12 with 10 RBIs, eight runs and three homers. In a 15-5 win over Oakland Mills on May 3, Steele had a double and a single, scored two runs, drove in one and stole a base. In the Gators' 9-5 eight-inning win over Glenelg on Wednesday, he went 4-for-5 with a game-ending grand slam. On Friday, Reservoir defeated Hammond, 12-5, with Steele hitting a three-run homer, walking twice and scoring two runs. Steele, who maintains a 3.4 grade-point average, is batting .492 with 20 RBIs and 24 runs.
