Week ahead for men's lacrosse

No. 12 Loyola (9-3)

Coming up: Vs. No. 20 Johns Hopkins, Saturday, noon, Ridley Athletic Complex

Comment: If the Greyhounds want to cement a spot in the NCAA tournament, they will have to end a 10-game losing streak to the Blue Jays. Senior faceoff specialist John Schiavone is just three ground balls away from tying the mark of 74 he set last season, which ranks ninth on the school's single-season list.

No. 20 Johns Hopkins (6-7)

Coming up: At No. 12 Loyola, Saturday, noon

Comment: A 39th consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament is at stake when the Blue Jays visit the Greyhounds. Mount St. Mary's (10-4)

Coming up: Vs. Marist, today, 4 p.m.

Comment: The Mountaineers have a chance to capture the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament crown and the league's automatic qualifier for the first time since 2003. Towson (7-7)

Coming up: Vs. Delaware, Saturday, 2:30 p.m., Johnny Unitas Stadium
