The Cardinals (5-4) led 6-4 going into the fourth quarter.
T.J. Neubauer had two goals and an assist for Loyola (9-3).
No. 1 Boys' Latin 14, No. 3 Archbishop Spalding 9: Wells Stanwick continued his stellar play this season with three goals and three assists, leading the Lakers (11-1, 7-0 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference) past the visiting Cavaliers (8-5, 5-2).
With the score tied 5-5 late in the second quarter, Boys' Latin scored eight straight goals.
No. 2 St. Paul's 13, No. 13 Severn 1: Andrew Barton, Spencer Parks and Taylor Michel scored three goals each for the Crusaders (10-2, 6-1 MIAA A Conference) as they routed the host Admirals (4-10, 0-7).
St. Paul's defense held Severn scoreless for three quarters, and the Crusaders outshot the Admirals 33-25.
No. 7 McDonogh 10, No. 10 Gilman 8: Trevor Siebert had 20 saves for the host Eagles (10-4) as they beat the Greyhounds (5-8).
Brenny Daly added two goals and an assist for McDonogh, which trailed 2-0 early but outscored Gilman 6-1 during the rest of the first half.
No. 12 Broadneck 8, Annapolis 5: Antonio Mazzeo had two goals and an assist to lead the host Bruins (6-2) past the Panthers (3-5).
Broadneck took a 5-1 lead after the first quarter and held Annapolis scoreless in the third quarter. Kevin Pastrana made 13 saves for the Panthers.
No. 15 John Carroll 16, Sts. Peter & Paul 2: Ricky Demicco scored four goals and added an assist as the Patriots (7-1) rolled past the host Sabres.
Girls lacrosse
No. 2 Severna Park 21, Chesapeake-AA 4: Morgan Torggler scored four goals and added an assist as the Falcons (9-0) beat the Cougars to remain perfect.
No. 6 Winters Mill 19, Liberty 6: McKenzie Cyr had a goal and seven assists to lead the visiting Falcons (8-1) past the Lions (7-2). Katie Leech, Erin McMunn and Amalie Trentzsch each scored five goals for Winters Mill.
No. 10 Marriotts Ridge 19, Wilde Lake 3: Emily Cooke and Lindsey DiAntonio each had a hat trick to power the host Mustangs (7-1) past the Wildecats.
Marriotts Ridge led 12-1 at halftime.
Baseball
No. 5 Gilman 8, East Syracuse Minoa (N.Y.) 5: Winner Matt Tilley scattered nine hits and the host Greyhounds (15-3) scored five runs in the first.
No. 11 Fallston 5, Harford Tech 4: Kyle McCafferty drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh on a single and hit a sacrifice fly in the second inning for the visiting Cougars (8-2).
Tyler Galeone went six innings and gave up four runs in his third win of the season.
Softball
No. 5 Seton Keough 10, John Carroll 0: Robi Zimmerman allowed just two hits, struck out five and had two hits of her own as the host Gators (7-8) blanked the Patriots in five innings.
No. 8 Howard 4, Atholton 2: Kensey O'Neill gave up two runs in the second inning before settling down and getting the win for the visiting Lions (7-1). Howard scored single runs in the first and third innings before scoring twice in the seventh to win.
No. 12 Mount de Sales 3, Severna Park 0: Winner Ashley Lesniewski struck out four and went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the host Sailors (8-6) past the Falcons.
No. 14 Maryvale 2, Notre Dame Prep 0: Right-hander Jessica Butler (99-1) struck out 14 in her first no-hitter of the season for the host Lions (11-2).
The win decided first place in the IAAM B Conference Division as Maryvale (6-0) jumped ahead of the Blazers (7-1) with three games left in the regular season.
Maryvale's Suzanne Patinella (2-for-3) had the only extra-base hit, a double.
