Here are defensive line prospects who might be available when the Ravens select at No. 25:
Terrence Cody Position: NT
College: Alabama
Ht/Wt: 6-3/354
Positive: Massive space-filler would keep Ravens among NFL's best run defenses.
Negative: Questionable work habits and a nonfactor in pass rush.
Interesting note: Cody claims he can dunk a basketball.
Will he be there? Without a doubt. But the Ravens might be reaching for a player projected to go in the first half of the second round.
Jared Odrick Position: DT/DE
College: Penn State
Ht/Wt: 6-5/304
Positive: Versatile lineman who can play multiple positions and play them tirelessly.
Negative: Carries a label of not being an impact player.
Interesting note: The Big Ten's Defensive Player o f the Year and Lineman of the Year last season
Will he be there? Seems 50-50 at this point. The Patriots are reportedly considering him with their No. 22 pick.
Brian Price Position: DT/DE
College: UCLA
Ht/Wt: 6-1/303
Positive: Powerful bull rusher who provides penetration on the pass rush.
Negative: Some questions about his motor and effort.
Interesting note: His godfather, Brian Shaw, was a 15-year NBA veteran with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Will he be there? Almost certainly. The biggest question is whether Price meshes with the Ravens' defensive personality.
Dan Williams Position: NT
College: Tennessee
Ht/Wt: 6-2/327
Positive: Tough to move inside but still is light on his feet.
Negative: Not explosive and has a tendency not to finish off plays.
Interesting note: Williams has reportedly sworn off fast food since weighing 360 pounds in 2005.
Will he be there? Slim chance. Williams seems earmarked to go to the Miami Dolphins at No. 12. Some have him going anywhere from Cleveland at No. 7 to Houston at No. 20.
