Al Saunders was recently promoted to senior offensive consultant, the Ravens announced Thursday. Saunders, 62, who was the Ravens' offensive consultant this past season, has coached in the NFL for 27 seasons as either an assistant head coach, an offensive coordinator or a wide receivers coach. He has been the play-caller for some of the best offenses over the past decade. "I'm at the stage of my career where I really enjoy the strategy of the game," Saunders said in a statement. "But most of all, you like working with the players to help their skills get really better. So I'm really enjoying where I am right now."
