Ravens' free-agent options at kicker become clearer

Baltimore Sun

The free-agent picture for kickers became a little clearer for the Ravens on Friday, when the Arizona Cardinals agreed to a deal with Jay Feely.

With the Cardinals out of the market, the Ravens are one of five teams that could be looking to upgrade at kicker. The top two available kickers are Shayne Graham and Neil Rackers, both of whom have been contacted by the Ravens.

In addition to the Ravens, the Dallas Cowboys (who have David Buehler and Connor Hughes), Cincinnati Bengals (Dave Rayner), Washington Redskins (Graham Gano and Justin Medlock) and Atlanta Falcons (Matt Bryant and former Raven Steve Hauschka) might be interested in adding a veteran kicker. Some of these teams could add a kicker in the draft.

The Ravens want to sign another kicker to compete with Billy Cundiff, who is a restricted free agent.
