No. 1 Boys' Latin routs Dulaney in lacrosse, 16-6

Wells Stanwick scored five goals and added three assists as the top-ranked Boys' Latin lacrosse team defeated visiting Dulaney, 16-6, Tuesday.

Stanwick, a junior who is committed to play at Johns Hopkins, is the brother of University of Virginia attackman Steele Stanwick (Loyola).

The Lakers (3-1) led 10-1 at the half and never trailed.

Patrick Foster had three goals and two assists for Boys' Latin.

No. 10 Fallston 10, No. 14 Mount St. Joseph 2: A tough Cougars defense shut out the visiting Gaels (0-2) as Fallston (1-0) took a 6-0 lead at the break. Brian White had four goals and Wade Baker had two goals and two assists to lead Fallston.

No. 12 Severn 9, Culver Academies (Indiana) 7: Beau Wood had two goals and two assists to power the host Admirals (3-2) past the Eagles.

BaseballNo. 1 Calvert Hall 5, Gilman 2: The visiting Cardinals (1-0) scored three runs in the second inning against the Greyhounds.

No. 10 River Hill 8, Centennial 3: Brandon Estrain went six innings and struck out four for the host Hawks (1-0).

No. 11 Mount St. Joseph 3, Annapolis Area Christian School 0: The host Gaels (1-0) scored two runs in the fourth and one in the sixth as they shut out the Eagles.

SoftballNo. 8 Howard 11, Hammond 0: Kenzie O'Neill allowed one hit and struck out 11 as the visiting Lions (1-0) shut out the Golden Bears (0-1).
