The NFL changed its overtime rules for playoff games at its annual meetings in Orlando, Fla., Tuesday, but the Ravens were one of four teams to vote against the proposal.

In May, there will be discussion of including the plan in the regular season, too.

Starting next season, if a team wins the coin toss and kicks a field goal, the other team gets the ball. If the game is tied after that, play continues under the current sudden-death rules.

Should the team winning the toss immediately score a touchdown, then the game is over.

Team owners voted 28-4 on Tuesday in favor of the proposal at the NFL meetings. Joining the Ravens in voting against it were the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills.
