He and teammate Alex Ramsay are rated the top two pro prospects in Maryland. Convissar batted .481 last year, has good range and motion and is a two-time All-County and All-Metro selection. He has committed to Maryland.

Michael Draper

Mount St. Joseph, shortstop-third baseman-second baseman, senior

He has a good glove with a .950 fielding percentage and can hit for power while batting nearly .400. His speed and quickness will help back up his pitchers.

Dominic Fratantuono

Cardinal Gibbons, outfielder, senior

He helped lead the Crusaders to a 19-10 record and the runner-up position in the MIAA A Conference. The left-handed hitter will attend Towson University on a baseball scholarship.

Kevin Kratochwill

Marriotts Ridge, infielder, senior

Last year's MVP raised his batting average 120 points to .483. Coach Paul Eckert says it's Kratochwill's baseball instincts that make him special. He'll play at Saint Joseph's next year.

A.J. Lardo

Loyola, outfielder, junior

A 2010 Under Armour Preseason All-American who is being heavily recruited, he has above-average power, speed and defense. Lardo hit .405 last year with 26 RBIs. He has a near-4.0 grade-point average and is the quintessential team leader.

Michael Marsh

Chesapeake-AA, shortstop, senior

Marsh, who batted .610 until the final playoff game and ended last season at .559, makes the Cougars go. He had slugging percentage of .932 and was flawless in the field.

Zach Nadolny
