The Washington Capitals have made four deals at the trade deadline, adding to a roster that was already leading the NHL standings. The Capitals acquired defenseman Joe Corvo from the Carolina Hurricanes for defenseman Brian Pothier, prospect forward Oskar Osala and a second-round draft pick in 2011. The Capitals also received center Eric Belanger from the Minnesota Wild for a second-round draft pick in this year's draft, defenseman Milan Jurcina from the Columbus Blue Jackets for a conditional sixth-round draft pick, and right wing Scott Walker for a 2010 seventh-round selection in a separate deal with the Hurricanes.
