Outlook: Behind three goals from Max Ferdinand and a key power play goal by Denison Cabral, the Blast ended a five-game skid with a 12-8 home win over Major Indoor Soccer League front-runner Monterrey on Friday. Trailing 6-4 at the half, the Blast dominated the second half - outscoring La RaZa 8-2 to send the team to Rockford on a positive note. The victory puts the Blast in sole possession of third place - the final playoff spot - and it can get further separation from the fourth-place Rampage tonight. "We're still climbing," Blast coach Danny Kelly said after Friday's win. "Every game for us now is a playoff game because it has to be. We've given too many games away." The Rampage is led by M Matthew Stewart, who has 11 goals and six assists for a team-high 30 points. The teams have split two games this season, with the Blast claiming a 10-8 road win Dec. 27.
