Leah Cranmer Severn, basketballThe senior shooting guard scored 44 points in two games last week and set a school record for most 3-pointers in a season. She has 36 3-pointers this winter, breaking the record of 32 set by Sarah Meisenberg in 2005. Cranmer scored 24 points and hit six 3-pointers in a 60-33 win over Maryvale that clinched the top spot in the IAAM B Conference Y Division. She then scored 20 points, including 15 in the second half, in a 50-28 win over Bryn Mawr. Cranmer averages 14.7 points and 2.4 assists, and has scored in double figures in all but two games for the Admirals (19-2). An Amateur Athletic Union veteran of the Maryland Grizzlies, Cranmer has a 3.4 grade-point average.
