Saturday's game against Hawks in D.C. postponed

Baltimore Sun

Saturday night's game between the Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards at Verizon Center was postponed because of the snowstorm that battered the Mid-Atlantic region. The NBA said Saturday that neither the Hawks nor Wizards could fly to Washington after their games Friday night. The Wizards played at Orlando, and the Hawks hosted the Chicago Bulls. The game will be rescheduled for a date yet to be announced. Patrons holding tickets for Saturday's game may keep those tickets and use them for the rescheduled game or take their tickets to the Verizon Center box office and redeem them for tickets to the Wizards' game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7 p.m. Feb. 17. Wizards plan holders can also exchange their tickets at the Verizon Center box office for the Minnesota game or redeem their tickets for one of the pre-selected plan-holder exchange games listed in their plan-holder online guide. Patrons still holding unused tickets for the game against the New York Knicks (played Jan. 30) who were unable to attend that game because of inclement weather can also turn in their unused tickets for the game against Minnesota.
