Boys Athlete of the Week: Cyrus Jones, Gilman, basketball

The 5-foot-10 sophomore had one of the most productive weeks of his high school career, contributing to four victories that extended the Greyhounds' winning streak to 15 games, one in overtime. Jones averaged 29.0 points, 6.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds during the week. "He's a strong natural athlete, and he's very quick, very strong and has a very good sense of the game," assistant coach Matt Tully said of his second-year varsity player, who is a leader on the floor.
