Crystal Palace, the parent club of Crystal Palace Baltimore, was placed in administration as the second-division south London club seeks buyers and tries to reconstruct its finances. CP Baltimore president Pete Medd said that "while the news out of London is not welcome ... for Palace fans worldwide, we want to assure our supporters and the North American soccer community that this situation does not affect Crystal Palace Baltimore's operation or finances."
