Erin Henderson returns to Vikings after suspension

Baltimore Sun

Backup linebacker Erin Henderson (Maryland) has returned to the Minnesota Vikings after completing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. Henderson was at practice Wednesday. He has played in only two games for Minnesota this season, primarily on special teams. Henderson declined to specify the substance he was punished for, but says he "didn't do anything wrong" and blames the positive test on a prescription product he took in training camp to remedy allergic reactions. Henderson appealed his punishment with the league in September, but it was denied.

JAGUARS: Jacksonville signed guard-center Andrew Crummey (Maryland), who has spent time with the Redskins, Bengals and Texans. Crummey, 6 feet 5, 301 pounds, was signed by Cincinnati off Washington's practice squad as a rookie in 2008 and played in six games. He spent the majority of the 2009 season on Houston's practice squad.
