Skiles suffers irregular heartbeat

Bucks coach Scott Skiles was hospitalized with an irregular heartbeat shortly before the team's game against the Suns on Monday night.

Skiles, who spoke to the media before the game and showed no signs of illness, was hospitalized for precautionary purposes, a team spokesman said.

Jim Boylan coached the Bucks in Skiles' absence. Boylan coached the Bulls on an interim basis after Skiles was fired in 2008.
