Veteran D Genoni Martinez leads the league in scoring with 23 points, while former Blast standout Carlos "Chile" Farias is not far behind with 17. In the teams' first meeting in Monterrey, the Blast won, 14-13, behind a three-goal, one-assist performance by Lucio Gonzaga. This game will be the first of two on back-to-back nights for the Blast, which will host the Wave at 7:35 p.m. Saturday.
