Outlook: The Blast (4-1) captured its fourth straight game with a 10-8 win at Rockford on Sunday to maintain the top spot in the Major Indoor Soccer League. In the win, rookie Max Ferdinand finished with a hat trick - the fourth straight game a Blast player has recorded one - including two three-point goals to finish with eight points. A good early sign has been the team's ability to win close games. Prior to Sunday's win, the Blast put the clamps on the Philadelphia KiXX in the fourth quarter for a 9-8 win on Dec. 18. The Wave (3-2) will be looking to gain a share of first place in the league with a win. The Blast's longtime rival is led by leading scorer Marco Terminesi (four goals, five assists for 14 points) and hard-nosed veteran defender Troy Dusosky.
