The Washington Capitals recalled center Keith Aucoin and goalie Michal Neuvirth from the American Hockey League's Hershey Bears, general manager George McPhee announced. The recall is Aucoin's third this season. He has totaled one goal and four assists in eight games with Washington, and has recorded nine goals and 15 assists in 19 contests with Hershey. Neuvirth was recalled for the second time this season. He has played in one game for the Capitals this year and made 19 saves in a 3-2 home loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Nov. 20. Neuvirth is 10-5-0 with the Bears this year, with a 1.99 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage. Washington goalie Semyon Varlamov is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
