By the numbers for women's lacrosse (May 1)

Here's a look at some of the numbers that stood out over the past week in women's college lacrosse.

1 — Stony Brook (17-0) is the only undefeated team left in Division I after North Carolina upset Boston College, 14-11, in the Atlantic Coast Conference championship.

22 — Maryland is 22-0 in Big Ten regular-season games after Thursday's 20-16 win over Northwestern.

32 — Mount St. Mary's upset Bryant, the Northeast Conference's only unbeaten team, 12-6, Sunday by holding the Bulldogs scoreless for the final 32 minutes of the game. Mountaineers goalie Jillian Petito made 14 saves and the defense shut down a prolific Bulldogs attack that had averaged 15.67 goals, the most in the NEC.

33 — North Carolina redshirt freshman Taylor Moreno made 33 saves in the ACC tournament, including 11 in the 14-11 championship upset of Boston College. The tournament Most Valuable Player set a record for the 22-year old event with her 33 saves over three games.

500 — Loyola Maryland earned the 500th win in program history Saturday as the Greyhounds finished the Patriot League regular season unbeaten with a 23-2 victory over Holy Cross.
