Varsity roundup: Archbishop Spalding girls top Broadneck in soccer, 3-2

Brianna Starr didn't know whether she was supposed be happy or relieved about No. 4 Archbishop Spalding's 3-2 girls soccer win at No. 11 Broadneck (8-3), but the Cavaliers junior attacker was thrilled with the starring role she played.

Starr scored Archbishop Spalding's first goal and assisted on the second as the Cavaliers (10-2-2) raced out to a three-goal advantage, then survived a furious comeback in the final 10 minutes to secure Thursday's match.
