The host Admirals (9-6, 7-4 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) built a six-goal halftime lead and held on.
Cameron McGee had two goals and two assists for the Reds (10-4, 8-3).
No. 1 McDonogh 14, Notre Dame Prep 8: The visiting Eagles (18-0, 12-0 IAAM A Conference) broke open a two-goal game in the second half with longer possessions and free-position shots to outdistance the Blazers (6-10, 5-7).
McDonogh extended its winning streak to 129 games.
Baseball
No. 2 Archbishop Spalding 8, Loyola Blakefield 0: Jordan Carr threw a two-hitter and struck out eight as the visiting Cavaliers (15-3, 8-3 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference) shut out the Dons (7-9, 2-9).
Spalding's offense was led by Nicholas Vermillion, David Harding and Carter Sears; all went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Softball
No. 15 Broadneck 7, No. 12 Northeast 5: Sydney Bostrom (3-for-4) hit a two-run double in the sixth inning to break a 5-all tie as the host Bruins (11-3) pulled away from the Eagles (10-5).

Garrison Forest wins two: Madison Wilson struck out 24 batters in two games as the Grizzlies (3-7) enjoyed back-to-back wins.
Garrison Forest beat St. Paul's, 18-11, on Wednesday and Institute of Notre Dame, 9-5, on Tuesday.
