Former Maryland defender Omar Gonzalez was one of four players added to the United States' Gold Cup roster in advance of Sunday's quarterfinal at M&T Bank Stadium, as announced by CONCACAF on Wednesday night.
Four players, including defender Oguchi Onyewu of Olney, were removed from the roster to accomodate for the changes.
Other players added were forwards Alan Gordon and Eddie Johnson and defender Matt Besler.
Defender Cory Ashe and forwards Herculez Gomez and Jack McInerney were also removed from the roster.
