A potential snowstorm that is projected to blanket the Baltimore region Saturday has forced the rescheduling of Saturday’s men’s lacrosse game between Drexel (4-5 overall, 0-1 Colonial Athletic Association) and Towson (3-6, 0-1).

Saturday’s game, which was originally scheduled for a noon start, has been moved up one day to Friday.

Attackman Jon Mazza and defenseman Sid Ewell have been suspended indefinitely for violating unspecified rules enforced by the Towson men’s lacrosse team. Reserve attackman Dylan Kinnear has also been suspended.

Faceoff is now scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will still take place at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson.

The game was shifted because of forecasts predicting snow accumulations of up to 7 inches Saturday for the city and surrounding counties north of Baltimore.
