After all of the talk surrounding weather, it doesn't look like it will be much of an issue Sunday. That is a good sign for Peyton Manning and the Broncos. Seattle may have a stingy defense, but if anyone can find his way around it, it's Manning.

The Seahawks will pressure Peyton Manning up the middle, and their secondary will press Denver's receivers to throw off timing. Good defense always beats good offense.

In this classic battle between the No. 1 offense and the No. 1 defense in the NFL, the "D" will get the "W." Look for the Seahawks to pick Peyton Manning a couple of times and for no one to interview Richard Sherman immediately after the game.

My gut wants to go with the Seahawks, whose smothering defense is a lot of fun to watch. But my brain tells me they won't score enough points to keep up with Peyton Manning and a stacked Broncos offense, who will get theirs.

Peyton Manning's experience and skilled group of receivers trumps Seahawks' stout defense by avoiding Richard Sherman. And the Broncos' defense finally solves reticent running back Marshawn Lynch as "Beast Mode" turns into "Least Mode" and Russell Wilson remains too quiet in the postseason.

Peyton Manning's season started with him throwing seven touchdown passes against the Ravens and it will end with him hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. This has been Manning and the Broncos' year and as long as they contain Marshawn Lynch and give their offense enough possessions, the Broncos should win a tight and well-played Super Bowl.

This magic moment that seems destined to end with Peyton Manning on the podium as the MVP, will meet up with game-time temps in mid-20s to mid-30s with winds that will make it feel even colder. If Seattle can hold the Denver run game in check, and apply pressure on Manning, the reality of a 37-year-old with a cervical disc repair playing at a very high level in the cold, and not being hampered is hard for me to conceptualize.
