Herb Walker Jr. rushed for three touchdowns and caught the go-ahead touchdown pass with 73 seconds left as visiting Morgan State slipped past Hampton, 38-35, on Saturday.

Moses Skillon rushed for one score and threw the decisive 17-yard pass to Walker for the Bears (5-4, 4-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Walker accounted for 109 receiving yards and 67 rushing yards, and Morgan State forced four turnovers while winning for the third time in four games.

Jerrell Antoine passed for two touchdowns and ran for one, but was intercepted twice for the Pirates (2-7, 1-4).

Hampton scored 15 straight points to overcome an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit before allowing Walker's final touchdown for its fourth loss in five games

Two touchdown runs by Walker boosted the Bears' lead to 31-20 before Antoine scored on a keeper, followed by a 2-point conversion. Christopher Dukes scored on a 5-yard run to give the Pirates a 35-31 lead with 2:42 to go. The advantage didn't last long, as Skillon hit Walker with a screen pass and he eluded a couple of defenders en route to the end zone.

A 12-yard scoring run by Walker and a 2-yard jaunt by Skillon gave Morgan State a 14-0 lead in the first quarter before Hampton cut its deficit in half on Jorrian Washington's 5-yard run with 6:59 left in the half.

The Pirates tied the score early in the third on Antoine's 12-yard scoring pass to Rayshad Riddick, and they took a 20-17 lead when Antoine connected with Twarn Mixson on a 34-yard touchdown pass with 2:10 to play in the third.

Bowie State 28, Lincoln 7: Senior Keith Brown ran for 131 yards and two touchdowns as the visiting Bulldogs (4-5, 4-2 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) beat the Lions (1-8, 0-6).

Bowie State's offense had 343 rushing yards on 64 carries, both season highs, while the defense held Lincoln to 88 yards.

Graduate student Kendall Jefferson ran for 129 yards and a score for the Bulldogs.

Alfred 23, Salisbury 21: Trevor Monk kicked a 22-yard field goal as time expired, giving the visiting Saxons (5-3, 3-3 Empire 8) a win over the Sea Gulls (4-4, 3-3).

Frostburg State 35, Hartwick 21: Senior Ben Sasu ran for 99 yards and two touchdowns to lead the visiting Bobcats (4-5, 2-5 Empire 8) over the Hawks (2-6, 1-5).

Quarterback Ken Emmons rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns for Frostburg.

Widener 34, Stevenson 23: Senior Terrant Morrison ran for 150 yards and two touchdowns to lead the host Pride (8-0, 7-0 Mid-Atlantic Conference) over the Mustangs (5-3, 4-3).

Juniata 56, McDaniel 31: Senior Ward Udinski passed for 469 yards, ran for 90 and was responsible for seven touchdowns as the host Eagles (4-4, 3-4 Centennial Conference) beat the Green Terror (1-7, 0-7).
