Hunter sight-ins

The Baltimore County Game & Fish Protective Association will conduct hunter sight-ins Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and today and Nov. 23 from noon to 3 p.m. at 3400 Northwind Road in Carney. The fee is $5 per shotgun or rifle. Information: Robert Batchelor at 410-592-9276.


Fly-fishing talk

Youth basketball

Nov. 22-23: Charm City Basketball teams is accepting registration from teams in its Annual Thanksgiving HoopFest. Teams are guaranteed three games in the tournament, and divisions are ordered by grade. Registration costs $295 for one team, $270 each for two teams and $250 each for three teams. Turkey shoot

Nov. 23: The Baltimore County Game & Fish Protective Association will conduct a turkey shoot on club grounds at 3400 Northwind Road in Carney from noon to 3p.m. Test your skill; win a turkey, ham or bacon. For further information, call Greg at 410-598-4970.

Thanksgiving golf

Nov. 27: Baltimore's Classic Five will host Turkey Shoot outings at Pine Ridge, Mount Pleasant, Forest Park and Clifton Park golf courses starting at 8:30 a.m. with shotgun starts. The registration fee, which includes a buffet breakfast, greens and cart fees, contests and prizes, is $59 at Pine Ridge, $48 at Mount Pleasant, $45 at Forest Park and $55 at Clifton Park.
