Fall fishing talk

Wednesday: Lenny Rudow will discuss fall light-tackle fishing tactics at a meeting of the Annapolis chapter of the Maryland Saltwater Sportfishing Association at 7 p.m. at American Legion Post 7 at 1905 Crownsville Road.

Community Family Day

Hurd 5K Spooktacular

Oct. 28: The Heather L. Hurd 5K Spooktacular will be held at Harford Community College. The race honors the memory of an HCC history major from 1999 to 2003 who was killed in 2008 by a distracted driver who was texting. South River's 'Score Card'
