Race for the Cure
Oct. 26: Susan G. Komen Maryland presents its 22nd Annual Komen Maryland Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley to honor, celebrate and memorialize those affected by breast cancer throughout the state. Nov. 1: The Orioles, OriolesREACH and manager Buck Showalter and his wife, Angela, are joining forces with KidsPeace to host the fifth annual Trick-or-Trot 5K/1-Mile Walk, a Halloween-themed race to benefit children in foster care. The race will begin and end at Oriole Park. Costumes are encouraged, and prizes will be awarded for top runners, age-group winners, fundraising teams and best costumes.
