Oct. 7: The first Potomac River Rockfish Tournament will be held at Aqualand Marina and Campground in Newburg. Winning anglers will receive cash awards in light tackle, trolling and kayak divisions. Proceeds will support Hope4Nichole, a nonprofit that provides breast cancer education and increased awareness while raising money to assist those affected by the disease.
