Cincinnati Reds RHP Bronson Arroyo

Age: 36 2013 stats: 14-12, 3.79 ERA in 202 innings over 32 starts Connolly's take: The quirky Arroyo is one of baseball's most reliable starters, and he might best fit the Orioles' search for stability and consistency. He has made 32 or more starts and pitched 199 or more innings in each of his past nine seasons. Manager Buck Showalter loves hard workers with personality, and new pitching coach Dave Wallace worked with Arroyo for two years in Boston. Because of his age, Arroyo likely won't get a contract beyond three years or force a team to break the bank.
