Catcher Chance Sisco, a 2013 second-round pick, was activated from the disabled list Thursday after not playing since April 24 because of an oblique injury. While he has struggled this year in his first nine games for Frederick, batting .167 in 24 at-bats, he will look to regain his 2014 form, when he was Delmarva's best hitter with a .340 average.

Low-A Delmarva

The Shorebirds have continued to benefit from the play of left fielder Conor Bierfeldt, who had two hits in four at-bats Thursday in a 6-4 win against the West Virginia Power. He had 28 RBIs in his first 25 games in May, making him the league leader in that category with 45 RBIs entering Friday. He also went into the weekend tied for third in home runs, recording all seven of his longballs in May.
