Spencer’s long list of lacrosse records grew in the No. 6 Greyhounds’ 15-9 victory over Navy on Saturday. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Boys’ Latin graduate had four goals and eight assists against the Midshipmen and set a school Division I record for most points in a game and tied a program mark set by Gary Hanley against Morgan State on April 25, 1979. The eight assists are a season high in Division I and the 12 points are tied for the most in a game, equaling Albany senior attackman Connor Fields’ performance against Massachusetts on March 6. Named the Patriot League’s Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Spencer is tied for second in the country in assists (26) and tied for third in points (42).
