52 – Assists this spring compiled by Canisius' Connor Kearnan after accumlating three in Wednesday's 12-6 loss to Robert Morris in an NCAA tournament play-in game. The senior attackman became the program's record holder for assists in a single season, overtaking Randy Mearns' 49 assists set in 1990.
240 – Ground balls collected this spring by Albany's TD Ierlan. With 21 ground balls in Saturday's 18-9 rout of Richmond in the first round, the sophomore faceoff specialist set an NCAA Division I single-season record, eclipsing the previous mark of 231 set by Bryant's Kevin Mass in 2013.
1985 – The last time Johns Hopkins overcame a five-goal deficit in an NCAA tournament game, defeating Virginia, 11-8, in the semifinals that year. The No. 5-seeded Blue Jays matched that effort Sunday, rallying from an 8-3 hole in the third quarter to outlast Georgetown, 10-9, in overtime in the first round.
1987 – The last time Cornell defeated Syracuse twice in the same season. The Big Red matched that feat this spring with a 13-8 victory on April 10 and a 10-9 decision Sunday in the first round.
1990 – The last time Yale won an NCAA tournament game in New Haven, Conn., walloping Princeton, 17-8. The No. 3-seeded Bulldogs got their first postseason victory at home in 28 years when they defeated Massachusetts, 15-13, in the first round Saturday.
