2 – Goals that No. 7 Villanova allowed in Saturday’s 7-2 victory at Hofstra. That’s the fewest the Wildcats had given up since April 5, 2008, in a 7-2 win over Manhattan.

4 – Goals that Providence scored in a one-goal win against Saint Joseph’s on Saturday. It was the fewest the Friars had posted in a victory since March 29, 2008, in a 4-3 win over Siena in four overtimes.

Albany men’s lacrosse is the new No. 1 team in the latest Maverik media poll with Maryland, Duke, Virginia and Denver rounding out the top five.

4 – Times that Robert Morris has upset a ranked opponent in program history. The Colonials upended then-No. 15 Penn State, 12-9, on Saturday for their first win against a ranked team since April 28, 2012, when they nipped No. 20 Bryant, 13-12.

23 – Faceoffs won by Jacksonville senior Hunter Forbes in a 15-8 victory over Detroit Mercy on Feb. 20. That total tied him with Denver senior Trevor Baptiste for the most faceoff wins in a game on the Division I level this season.

25 – The number of faceoffs won by Virginia sophomore Justin Schwenk in the No. 4 Cavaliers’ 18-15 victory over then-No. 18 Princeton on Saturday. That total is the most in a single game on the Division I level this season and ranks second in school history.

The senior faceoff specialist enjoyed a perfect day, going 22-for-22 and picking up 13 ground balls in the No. 5 Pioneers’ 17-8 rout of Cleveland State on Sunday.
