Outlook: The Greyhounds have won all three meetings against the Bulldogs and are the hottest team in Division I with a seven-game winning streak. Yale had a nation-high six seniors selected in the recent Major League Lacrosse draft, including attackman and three-time Tewaaraton Award finalist Ben Reeves, defenseman Christopher Keating and faceoff specialist Conor Mackie. Loyola has its own stable of stars, including junior attackman and two-time Tewaaraton finalist Pat Spencer (Boys’ Latin), senior defenseman and Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year Foster Huggins and senior and conference Goalkeeper of the Year Jacob Stover (McDonogh). It will be interesting to see whether the Bulldogs elect to run with the Greyhounds or slow the game’s tempo.
