Outlook:
North Carolina leads this series, 5-4, but Notre Dame has won three of the past five meetings. The Fighting Irish is ranked second in Division I in defense, but they coughed up a season-worst 11 goals in a three-goal loss to No. 1 Syracuse last Saturday. Freshman attackman Nicky Galasso is tied for seventh nationally in points per game (3.8), but the Tar Heels haven't played since April 22.
