Terps hand No. 3 Penn State first loss of 2014
The Maryland men's soccer team (5-5-2, 2-1-1 Big Ten Conference) scored a season-high four goals Sunday in a 4-0 shutout of visiting No. 3 Penn State(10-1-1, 4-1-0). Terps junior midfielder Mael Corboz had the first two goals, and senior forward Alex Shinsky and junior midfielder Tsubasa Endoh each added one to give the Nittany Lions their first loss this year. Penn State's Andrew Wolverton had surrendered two goals total this season until the Terps scored four on him, the most Maryland has had in a game since last October.
