The Chesapeake Bayhawks have signed midfielder-attackman Colin Heacock (Boys' Latin, Maryland) to a three-year deal through the 2021 Major League Lacrosse season. Heacock, a member of the 2017 Terps' championship team, has spent both years of his MLL career with the Bayhawks, having been selected with the 11th overall pick of the 2017 draft. Last season, Heacock had 40 points, 25 goals and 14 assists in 15 season. "I think Colin is one of the best young players in the league, and is going to be a rising super star," coach Dave Cottle (Northern, Salisbury) said. "Being a local kid who played at Maryland, he embodies what the Bayhawks are all about."
