Adam Callaway, 36, of Towson won the Maryland Half Marathon on Saturday in Fulton in 1 hour, 23.14.4 seconds. The female winner of the race, which begins and ends in Maple Lawn and winds through Howard County, was Hannah Walter, 21 of Baltimore in 1:30:26.8. Eric Schuler, 25, of Laurel won the 5-kilometer race in 18:53, and Courtney Waldhauser, 28, of Fallston was the women's champion in 21:14. Jicheng Liu, 46, of Ellicott City was second in the half-marathon in 1:27:11.6, followed by Walter, who was third overall. The second women's finisher was Amy Haas of Athens, Ohio, who was 24th overall in 1:41:32.4. The race benefits the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
