"I'd like to wish the [current] players the best of luck in the future. It was enjoyable to coach and watch so many great players, especially those that achieved elite status around the league and regionally. The opportunity to finish my career as a Retriever was very exciting and they were some of the best times of my coaching career."

Report: Ravens under investigation for possible CBA violation
The Ravens are being investigated by the NFL for potentially violating the collective bargaining agreement by having first-year and tryout players in full pads during rookie minicamp, according to an ESPN report Monday. One team official said he wasn't aware of the investigation. However, another Ravens official confirmed ESPN's version of events, and acknowledged that the players were in full pads for a five-minute portion of the practice May 6, during which the team was doing a noncontact punt protection drill. When it was brought to the team's attention that it could be violating the CBA, the Ravens consulted with their players union representative, tight end Benjamin Watson, and they had the players take off their shoulder pads, a team official said. They then resumed the drill. It is against the terms of the collective bargaining agreement to have fully padded practices in either rookie minicamp and organized team activities, which start next week. The NFL did not return a request for comment.
More Ravens: The team announced that it signed veteran quarterback Josh Johnson and offensive lineman Vlad Ducasse. The Ravens also signed cornerback Sam Brown, an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State.
