Dundalk native Bucky Lasek wins record 10th Dew Tour skate vert final

"Words can't explain how I feel right now. I went all last year without a win. To come back this year to win the first stop, the Pantech Open, in my home state of Maryland, is unbelievable," Lasek said. In BMX vert, Jamie Bestwick scored a 93.75 in his best run of the night to earn the win over Chad Kagy and Simon Tabron, respectively.

"After watching the riding tonight, the road to the Dew Tour Championships is bound to be one of the best yet."

Lasek and Bestwick will look to repeat their vert success in Salt Lake City at the Dew Tour Toyota Challenge on Sept. 8-11 before vying for the Dew Cup at the Dew Tour Championships in Las Vegas on Oct 13-16.

Lasek will seek his first skate bowl victory Aug. 11-14 at the Portland Invitational.
