Austin Tillotson made the winning shot from halfcourt as time ran out to give host Colgate a 93-90 overtime victory over Loyola Maryland on Sunday.
After Andre Walker made a 3-pointer for the Greyhounds (8-19, 7-9 Patriot League) with four seconds left, Tillotson heaved the game-winner from center court.
Tillotson made one of two free throws with 10 seconds left before Walker's game-tying basket. Sean O'Brien's basket tied it for the Raiders (13-14, 9-7) at 79 with 31 seconds left in regulation to send it into overtime.
Tillotson finished with 20 points and eight assists. O'Brien added a career-high 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting with Alex Ramon scoring a career-high 18 points and Tom Rivard 17.
Eric Laster was 10-for-15 from the field for a career-high 26 points, Walker added 19 points and Franz Rassman had 15 for Loyola.
Women
Loyola Maryland 55, Colgate 38: Jeneh Perry had 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead the host Greyhounds (11-15, 8-7 Patriot) over the Raiders.
Loyola ended the first quarter with an 18-4 lead and held Colgate (4-21, 2-13) to 20.8 percent (11-for-53) shooting from the field.
Steph Smith (Mount Saint Joseph) added 10 points and Diana Logan and Lisa Mirachi had nine each for the Greyhounds.
James Madison 61, Towson 45: Jazmon Gwathmey scored 21 points and the host Dukes (20-5, 13-2 Colonial Athletic Association) defeated the Tigers.
James Madison held Towson (6-20, 3-12) to 27.4 percent (17-for-62) shooting from the field and kept Towson under double digits in each of the first three quarters for a 41-23 lead entering the fourth quarter.
Dominque Johnson had 13 points and seven rebounds and Raven Bankston added 11 points for the Tigers, who lost their second straight game.
