Andre Walker scored a career-high 31 points, including the winning free throws with four seconds left, and Loyola Maryland defeated host Army West Point, 100-99, in double overtime Saturday.

Dylan Cox, whose 3-pointer with 1.6 seconds left in regulation tied the game, made two free throws to give the Black Knights (3-11, 4-8 Patriot League) the lead with 12 seconds remaining in the second overtime. But he fouled Walker, who made both free throws.


Jarred Jones (John Carroll) matched a career high with 28 points for the Greyhounds (8-15, 7-5).

UMBC 83, Maine 79: Jairus Lyles scored a career-high 37 points, including eight in a row late in the game, and the visiting Retrievers (6-19, 2-8 America East) defeated the Black Bears (8-15, 4-6), ending a seven-game losing streak.

Lyles connected on 14 of 19 shots from the field, including three 3-pointers, for the third-most points in school history.

Towson 81, Elon 77: William Adala Moto scored 27 points to help the visiting Tigers (17-8, 8-4 Colonial Athletic Association) beat the Phoenix (14-11, 5-7).

Elon's Dmitri Thompson made a layup to cut the deficit to 79-77, but Eddie Keith II made two free throws to put it away.

Colgate 58, Navy 55: Jordan Swopshire scored 10 of his 20 points in the second half, and the Raiders (11-12, 7-5 Patriot) held on to beat the host Midshipmen (16-9, 7-5).

Jace Hogan and Tilman Dunbar had 13 points apiece to lead Navy, which has lost four of its past five games.

UMES 73, Hampton 70: Dominique Elliott had 23 points to lead the host Hawks (8-16, 5-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) over the first-place Pirates (13-9, 8-2).

Bakari Copeland's free throws capped a 7-1 run for UMES that made it 68-60 with 1:57 left. Reginald Johnson Jr.'s 3-pointer closed it to 70-68 with 37 seconds left, but Hampton got no closer.

South Carolina State 88, Coppin State 83: Ed Stephens scored 23 points to help the host Bulldogs (13-11, 8-2 MEAC) edge the Eagles (5-17, 3-6).

Coppin State lost its third straight after winning three in a row to end January.

Savannah State 57, Morgan State 49: Troyce Manassa scored 20 points to lift the host Tigers (8-13, 4-6 MEAC) over the Bears (5-16, 3-5).

Cedric Blossom had 13 points for Morgan State, which shot 29.8 percent from the field and 0-for-8 from beyond the arc.

Wagner 72, Mount St. Mary's 51: Corey Henson scored 22 points and the host Seahawks (15-8, 8-4 Northeast Conference) pulled away from the Mountaineers (10-15, 7-5) in the second half to win.


Wagner led 37-33 at the half and scored nine of 12 points to start the second half to take a double-digit lead. Junior Robinson led the Mount with 14 points.


Morgan State 66, Savannah State 60, 3OT: The Bears (9-12, 7-2 MEAC) won their third in a row by outscoring the host Tigers 8-2 in the third overtime after surrendering a six-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Morgan State's Braennan Farrar led all scorers with 26 points and Tykyrah Williams had 23. Kenyata Hendrix had 21 points for Savannah State (6-15, 3-7).

South Carolina State 67, Coppin State 63: Ashleigh Outler scored 16 points to lead the host Bulldogs (9-11, 5-5 MEAC) over the Eagles (7-13, 4-4).

Keena Samuels scored 15 points for Coppin State, which led 35-34 at halftime but trailed the entire second half after Outler hit a 3-pointer to begin the third quarter.

Hampton 76, UMES 55: Malia Tate-DeFreitas scored 31 points to lead the Pirates (10-12, 8-1 MEAC) over the host Hawks (6-15, 4-5).

Navy 62, Colgate 58: Peri Curtis (17 points) scored the go-ahead basket on a layup for a 54-52 lead with 4:35 remaining and the visiting Mids (11-11, 5-6 Patriot) held on to beat the Raiders (4-17, 2-9).

Army West Point 52, Loyola Maryland 44: The Black Knights (19-2, 10-1 Patriot) outscored the host Greyhounds 33-22 in the second half after trailing by three points at halftime to win their ninth in a row.

Jeneh Perry had a game-high 18 points and nine rebounds for Loyola (9-13, 6-5).

LIU-Brooklyn 53, Mount St.Mary's 50: Sarafina Arthur-Williams scored 13 points and had 12 rebounds, but the Mountaineers (5-17, 3-8 Northeast) fell to the host Blackbirds (7-16, 5-6).

Maine 72, UMBC 38: The Black Bears (18-7, 9-1 America East) held the host Retrievers (13-10, 4-6) to 28 percent shooting while giving up just 20 points in the second half to cruise to victory.

Taylor McCarley scored 14 points for UMBC, which trailed 31-18 at the half.
