The as-yet-unnamed franchise will hold its home opener May 7 at Royal Farms Arena, where the team will face the Tampa Bay Storm in its fourth game of the year.
Baltimore will play 14 games in all: five against the Valor — like itself, also a new franchise owned by Ted Leonsis' Monumental Sports & Entertainment — and three each against the Philadelphia Soul, Cleveland Gladiators and Storm.
"The release of the schedule brings us closer to introducing the arena football game to the passionate fans of Baltimore,” Baltimore coach Omarr Smith said in a release. “We have an interesting schedule with some exciting matchups and will face some adversity early with so many road games, but we will embrace that challenge. Most importantly we are committed to building a first-class organization on and off the field that the city will be proud of, and we can’t wait for our inaugural game in Baltimore on May 7.”
Monumental Sports Network, a subscription-only network, will broadcast all Baltimore games for this season. Season-ticket plans are on sale, with tickets starting at just $8 per game, and single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public in the coming weeks.
The Baltimore team's name and uniform are scheduled to be unveiled Jan. 25.
